Safety Enforcement
Aviation authorities like the FAA, Transport Canada and the Australian CASA have the authority to issue orders assessing civil penalties for violations of certain aviation laws and regulations. Also, an aviation authority can suspend or revoke the Air-Operator Certificate of an airline.
