Narrative:
Struck mountain (Arberseewand, Bayrischer Wald) at about 1000 meters in bad weather during the final leg of the Rome-Munich-Berlin flight.

Sources suggest the airplane involved was I-BAUS, a Ju-52/3m. I-BAUS is also reported to have crashed in Italy on April 30, 1938.
