Unfallbericht:The Caribou, leased from the US Air Force (61-2393), crashed while on finals to Pha Khao. All 34 troops were injured; the kicker was killed. The aircraft was reportedly overloaded. The aircraft sustained major damage and, after the recovery of several components, was abandoned at the crash site.
