Descripción:
The Lockheed Learstar lost control in a thunderstorm. Both wings and the horizontal and vertical stabilizers separated in flight. The aircraft's gyro had rust and corrosion. Pilot in command was Carl Boy, one of the founders of Carolina Aircraft Corp.
