Descripción:Aeroflot Tu-134 CCCP-65816 operated on the route Chelyabinsk-Voronezh-Kishinev. It had departed Voronezh and was en route to Kishinev at 8400 meters. Near Dneprodzerzhinsk another Tu-134, CCCP-65735 was en route from Tashkent to Minsk. This flight had left Donetsk and was flying at the same altitude. The air traffic controller noticed that the planes were on an intersecting course and ordered CCCP-65735 to climb to 9000 meters. A muffled response was heard by the controller, who assumed this was a read back from CCCP-65735. In fact this was a radio transmission from another flight and CCCP-65735 remained at the same altitude. In an area of clouds both planes collided. Both Tu-134's crashed, killing all on board. Among the casualties was the Soviet (now Uzbek) football team Pahtakor which was aboard CCCP-65735.
