Descripción:The Lockheed C-130A Hercules transport plane impacted terrain and burned, shortly after takeoff from Luanda, Angola. All seven on board were killed.

As the aircraft, believed to be loaded with a cargo of fuel, climbed through about 600 m after takeoff when the no. 1 engine reportedly oversped. The aircraft entered a right turn but lost height until the right wing struck the ground. and the aircraft crashed.
The aircraft supposedly carried the a St Lucia registration, J6-SLQ. Formally however, the aircraft was still on the U.S. civil aircraft register as N9724V, owned by a US film-production firm, CZX Productions. It was operated by a Florida company, Questline.
Flight International reports that Dietrich Reinhardt, a German citizen resident in the USA, was linked to both firms. In the past, Reinhardt managed St Lucia Airways, an airline used by the CIA for covert operations, including arms supply to the UNITA guerrillas fighting the government of Angola.
