The Japanese government has decided to send two inspectors from the Aircraft and Railway Accidents Investigation Commission (ARAIC) to Indonesia to help the aircraft-accident plagued country prevent further accidents. The two ARAIC inspectors will advise their Indonesian counterparts and conduct an on-site investigation into an accident that occurred at the Yogyakarta Airport in March. They are expected to lead the investigation of that accident. (The Yomiuri Shimbun)
