Republic F-84E-5-RE Thunderjet 49-2200, 53rd FBS, 36th FBW, USAF: Written off (destroyed) January 11 1951 when crashed near Malching, 1 Mile West of Fürstenfeldbruck AB, Munich, Bavaria, West Germany due to engine failure, Reportedly engine exploded in flight during the initial climb out, and the pilot - Edward D Eisele, USAF - bailed out.

Malching is a municipality in the district of Passau in Bavaria in Germany.
