Republic F-84E-5-RE Thunderjet 49-2151, 22nd FBS, 36th FBW, USAF: Written off (destroyed) March 13 1951 when crashed due to engine failure/engine fire and explosion in flight, over Puchheim-Ort, 6 miles East of Furstenfeldbruck AB, Munich, Bavaria, West Germany. The pilot - Cuthbert A Pattillo, USAF - bailed out successfully.

Puchheim (Central Bavarian: Buachham) is a town near Munich in the district of Fürstenfeldbruck, in Bavaria, Germany. Puchheim is divided into two parts: the old and rural part called Puchheim-Ort and the new part of Puchheim (Puchheim-Bahnhof) that was founded when the Munich S-Bahn was built. The old part of Puchheim is even older than Munich.
