Narrative:
Written off (destroyed) August 14, 1966, when crashed at Chesapeake, Virginia; no or minor injuries sustained to the two person on board (pilot and one passenger). Cause of crash was engine failure due to contaminated fuel. According to the following excerpts from the official NTSB report into the accident:

"ENGINE FAILURE OR MALFUNCTION: COLLIDED WITH: TREES. FUEL STARVATION/FUEL CONTAMINATION-EXCLUSIVE OF WATER IN FUEL.
IMPROPERLY SERVICED AIRCRAFT (OWNER-PILOT).
COMPLETE ENGINE FAILURE/FLAME OUT OF #1 ENGINE. FORCED LANDING OFF AIRPORT ON LAND, RIGHT ENGINE FUEL SYSTEM CONTAINED WATER,DIRT AND SLUDGE".
