The aircraft experienced a runway overrun upon landing at a private airstrip in Waitao, southeast Tauranga, Bay of Plenty, North Island. The airplane sustained substantial damage and one of two occupants onboard received minor injuries. One occupant onboard the aircraft was not injured.
