Narrative:
F-AIOY CAMS 56 (MSN 04); first registered 1.3.29 (C of R 2031) to Cie Generale Aeropostale, Paris (based Algiers).

Written off (destroyed) 9.2.30: While cruising off the French coast on a cargo/mail flight from Marseille to Algiers, crew encountered an engine failure. Pilot attempted to make an emergency landing off Cape Béar, Port-Vendres, Pyrénées-Orientales but the sea was very rough. Aircraft crashed on landing and rescuers were grounded due to poor weather conditions. All operations were eventually suspended and no trace of the aircraft nor the crew were ever found.
