Bristol Blenheim N6206 (VE-D) of 110 Squadron, RAF lost on combat operations 28 September 1939; Took off from RAF Wattisham, Suffolk, at 07.40 (with Blenheim N6212) for Reconnaissance Sortie in the Munster area and failed to return, with the loss of all three crew

Flying Officer Donald Arthur Strachan (Pilot, Service Number 39580) - killed in action
Sergeant William Mackenzie Gunn (Observer, Service Number 563464, aged 27) - killed in action
Aircraftman 1st Class John Bateson (Wireless Op/Air Gunner, Service Number 533911, aged 24) - killed in action
