An Omni Air International Boeing 767-33AER, performing flight OY-531, was holding on taxiway C at Shannon Airport (SNN/EINN) following a rejected takeoff due to brake problems resulting in a small left main landing gear fire.
An evacuation was carried out via the right hand slides.The plane was carrying US troops.
No serious injuries occurred and the airport was temporarily closed, but re-opened at 11:15.
