Narrative:
A Flybe Embraer ERJ-175, registration G-FBJI performing flight BE-4565 from Cardiff, Wales (UK) to Paris Charles de Gaulle (France), was accelerating for take off from Cardiff's runway 30 when one of the engines (CF34) ingested a bird prompting the crew to reject take off. The aircraft slowed safely and stopped on the runway, emergency services responded.

The airline reported the aircraft received a bird strike prompting the crew to reject take off. A replacement Embraer ERJ-175 registration G-FBJF reached Paris with a delay of about 2:40 hours. The occurrence aircraft was still on the ground in Cardiff about 33 hours after the rejected take off.
