Narrative:
The aircraft took off from runway 10 of the Chulilla Airfield for a check flight, after a repair had been made to the aircraft's engine.
On board were the pilot and the technician who had made the repair. According to the pilot, during the takeoff run, he gradually operated the engine throttle until it reached the maximum power position. The engine speed increased progressively, although it did not go above 4000 or 4100 rpm.
The pilot decided to continue the takeoff, considering that he did not have enough runway to abort it.
He then proceeded to return to the field. He was unable to establish the aircraft properly to land on runway 28, so he opted to make a short traffic circuit to land on the opposite runway (10).
The aircraft crashed into the terrain during the turn from the tailwind leg to the base leg.
The aircraft sustained significant damage as a result of impacts against the ground and several orange trees.

The investigation has determined that the cause of the accident was the deficient management of the emergency generated by the engine failure.
