A hot-air balloon was caught by a gust during landing and bounced several times. Four of the seven occupants were ejected from the basket. Then balloon then slid down a mountain into the direction of the River Rhine and was finally found entangled in trees with the remaining 3 occupants. The pilot of the balloon was killed and at least two passengers were heavily injured.
