Narrative:
ITA Airways flight AZ610, an Airbus A330-202 (EI-EJM), struck a stationary Endeavor Air Bombardier CRJ-900LR (N928XJ) at taxiway KF at New York-John F. Kennedy International Airport, NY (JFK).
The CRJ-900, operating Delta Connection flight DL4994, landed on runway 22L at 23:17 UTC and taxied to the ramp using taxiway A. It turned right onto taxiway KF but had to stop due to congestion on the apron.
Meanwhile, at 23:20 UTC, the Airbus had landed on runway 22L and was also following taxiway A to the gate.
While passing the DL4994, the Airbus' right-hand winglet contacted the tail of the CRJ-900. The winglet was severed and the tail of the CRJ was damaged as well.
