Narrative:United Airlines flight UA194, a Boeing 777-224ER, encountered turbulence after departure from San Francisco International Airport, CA (SFO), seriously injuring one occupant.
The flight took off from SFO at 21:58 UTC. ADS-B data show a brief spike in altitude at 22:11 UTC with a 6144 fpm rate of climb.
