Narrative:
Hawker Hunter F.Mk.4 WV328: First flown at Hawker Aircraft Ltd., Dunsfold, Surrey 8/6/55. Delivered to the RAF at 5 MU Kemble 30/6/55. Issued to 247 Squadron, RAF Odiham

Written off (damaged beyond repair) 25/1/56: Caught fire after a starter cartridge exploded during engine start-up at RAF Odiham, Basingstoke, Hampshire. Aircraft burnt out, but the pilot escaped uninjured.
