Narrative:
KLM Flight 652, an Airbus A-330-200, was en route from Washington to Amsterdam at FL370 when the flight declared a PAN situation due to a loss of power in an unspecified engine (General Electric CF6-80E1A3). The aircraft was unable to maintain the assigned altitude and descended to FL200. The crew advised that they did not require assistance, requested and received a clearance to divert the flight to Bangor.
