Narrative:
On approach to a landing site on Isola del Giglio, as the helicopter descended through about 300 metres, it reportedly suffered a loss of power. The pilot carried out an autorotation but the helicopter touched down hard about 500 metres from the shore. The occupants managed to escape from the helicopter before it sank and were rescued about an hour later. The accident happened at night (20:46 hours Local time). The helicopter was positioning to Isola del Gigloi to collect a patient.
