Narrative:
Written off (destroyed) August 11, 1966 when crashed near William R. Pogue Municipal Airport, Sand Springs, Osage County, Oklahoma; all three persons on board (pilot and two passengers) were killed. According to the official NTSB report into the accident:

"Pilot in command - continued VFR flight into adverse (IFR only) weather conditions. Aircraft collided with trees, and caught fire after impact"

Registration N7218Y cancelled by the FAA on June 24, 1970
