PROBABLE CAUSE:THE PILOT'S POOR PREFLIGHT AND IN-FLIGHT PLANNING IN ELECTING TO CONTINUE THE FLIGHT BEYOND THE PLANNED DESTINATION WHICH RESULTED IN FUEL EXHAUSTION.
