Narrative:
Written off (destroyed) 10 November 1980 when crashed into the Atlantic Ocean off Bridgeport, Fairfield County, Connecticut. Pilot reported low on fuel at 22:19 local, three minutes before it crashed. Presumed crashed/ditched when ran out of fuel. The official NTSB report notes that the pilot became disorientated in flight, as it was a night flight.

Wreckage of the aircraft was never found, but the body of one of the passengers on board was recovered. Other injuries, and aircraft damage presumed, as none of the other three persons on board (pilot and two other passengers) were recovered.
