A Canadian Home Rotors Safari amateur built helicopter crashed near Ceske Budejovice and was destroyed by fire. On the day of the accident it flew for 14 minutes following rotor balancing.
The AIII determined the cause was the "forced, energetic manipulation of the controls", probably in response to the loss of a balance weight, which caused a main rotor blade to strike the tail boom.
