Narrative:
A Mooney M20J/201 experienced engine failure and tried to glide into the Ozark Regional Airport - KBPK, Arkansas, but crashed about one-quarter mile south of the airport instead.

The pilot was taken to a hospital and that its only passenger had minor injuries but was not hospitalized.
