Narrative:The aircraft, a Glastar, N4970Y, experienced a loss of power and force landed on Port District land north of Calumet Park, Chicago, Illinois, and flipped over several times before coming to rest inverted. The aircraft sustained unreported damage and the sole pilot onboard received serious injuries.
