Narrative:Whilst en route between Dhahran and Riyadh and flying low across the open desert, the helicopter is reported to have suddenly encountered a layer of ground fog. Shortly after entering the fog the helicopter apparently flew into the ground and was destroyed. The accident happened in daylight (08:51 Local time). It is understood that, due to conflicting traffic inbound to Dhahran, the aircraft was instructed to remain below 150 feet until clear of the airport approach path
