Narrative:
Following a loss of engine power during an approach to Gimlin Airport (18MO), southwest of Ozark, Missouri, the aircraft, an experimental Jones built Zenith CH-601 XLB, force landed to a field.
The aircraft sustained apparent minor damage and the sole pilot onboard was not injured.
