Narrative:
In-flight birdstrike (Western Grebe) at 12000 ft. on climbout from PHX. Emergency return to PHX. Landed without further incident. No injuries to the 5 crew or 65 passengers. Aircraft suffered 18 inch by 21 inch tear in fuselage skin aft of the right side flight deck eyebrow window and structural damage to the upper portion of the fuselage.
