The experimental Blue Side Up Aviation Group built Sonex Onex aircraft experienced a loss of directional control and impacted a ditch during takeoff from Gnoss Field Airport (KDVO), Novato, California. The airplane sustained unreported damage and the sole pilot onboard was not injured.
