Narrative:Hit by lightning, control lost in snowstorm & crashed at Ewell Minnis, between Dover and Folkstone, Kent. Sergeant-Pilot Gwilym James Maurice and Aircraftman Stanley McCabe were killed and Flight Lieutenant George Edward Strangman and Flight Lieutenant Reginald John Cooper were injured.
However Flt Lt Stangman died in hospital two days later of injuries sustained
