The cropduster plane crashed following a loss of engine power. The pilot survived the crash.
3.1 Probable Cause.
The pilot in command suffered a sudden reduction in power at the start of the flight, forcing him to make an emergency landing on a mountain, resulting in the accident.
3.2 Endemic causes.
Aircraft inspections - Landing lights.
The fact that the landing light casing or shield is not installed caused the landing light to fragment and enter the carburetor and engine air intake.
