Narrative:de Havilland Canada DHC-1 Chipmunk T.10 WK552: Delivered 21/2/52. RAF Service was with 4 BFTS, 15 RFS and 2 FTS.
Written off (damaged beyond repair) 9/8/54: Hit by Avro Anson PH704 while parked on peritrack at RAF Hullavington, Wiltshire. Damaged aircraft struck off charge 2/9/54 as Cat.5(c) and broken up for spares and scrap at 49 MU RAF Colerne.
Avro Anson PH704 was only slightly damaged, was repaired and continued in service until September 1956.
