Narrative:
Gloster Meteor F.Mk.8 WL141: Notified as awaiting collection 14/12/53, delivered 21/12/53. RAF service career was with 257 Squadron, 64 Squadron and 65 Squadron

Written off (damaged beyond repair) 29/11/55: Undercarriage jammed and collapsed on landing, aircraft swung off the runway at RAF Duxford, Cambridgeshire. Not repaired and struck off charge as Cat.5(c) in November 1955
