Narrative:
Swiss flight LX93 was involved in an airprox incident with ann MSW Votec 252T aircraft (HB-YMU) performing aerobatics. LX93 was on descent for an approach to Zürich-Kloten Airport.
The closest distance between the two aircraft was 0.6 NM horizontal, and about 1100 ft vertical.

On the morning of June 23, 2018, approximately 18 NM northwest of Zurich Airport, near the lower airspace boundary of Sector 6 of the Terminal Control Area (TMA) Zurich, a safety-impairing approach occurred between a Boeing B777-3DEER commercial aircraft with the flight code SWR93 of Swiss International Air Lines and a light aircraft with the registration HB-YMU, conducting aerobatic maneuvers northwest of Birrfeld Airport (LSZF) near the border with Germany (see Figure 1).

During the radar guidance of LX93 by the Approach Control West of Zurich Airport, while descending to 6000 ft QNH, the ground-based Short Term Conflict Alert (STCA) system issued a warning at 08:00:19 UTC for a few seconds. The B777 was in the right base leg for an instrument approach to Runway 14 when the onboard Traffic Alert and Collision Avoidance System (TCAS) initially provided a Traffic Advisory (TA), followed shortly by a Resolution Advisory (RA). The pilot of HB-YMU had just accelerated his aircraft to 4100 ft QNH in level flight before pulling the plane into a looping maneuver at 4900 ft QNH within a few seconds.
The flight crew of LX93 followed the climb command and reported "TCAS RA" to the Approach Control. After the B777 had climbed 400 ft, the flight crew continued the instrument approach without further incidents.

According to radar recordings, at 08:07:04 UTC, during its flight, HB-YMU reached a maximum altitude of 6100 ft QNH; according to the pilot of HB-YMU, the altimeter indicated a maximum of 5700 ft. Thus, HB-YMU entered the airspace of Sector 6 of the TMA Zurich.
