Spitfire N3025: First Flown 8-9-39. Delivered to 609 Squadron 11-9-39. Damaged when ran into snowdrift on landing and tipped up at RAF Drem, East Lothian 25-1-1940.
Crew:
F/O (37869) BIan Bedford Nesbitt RUSSELL DFC (pilot) RAF: OK.

Minor damage repaired and aircraft returned to service; however, written off (damaged beyond repair) when undershot landing Drem 19-3-40 and collided with Spitfire Mk Ia L1096. This time, not repaired and SOC as Cat E 13-5-40
