Narrative:(1H+FS), The aircraft is thought to have been shot down by Spitfires of 72 Sqn form Acklington, the aircraft crashed into the North Sea, 30 miles east of the River Tees, County Durham. (Several sources state "30 miles off Middlesborough - which was in North Yorkshire at the time).The aircraft sank, but all five crew survived and were taken as PoWs:
