Re-registered 30.3.2006 to The Tiger Club (1990) Ltd, Headcorn, Ashford, Kent. Minor damage to wing and undercarriage when struck Robin DR.400 G-GGJK taxying at Headcorn 28.8.2007. According to the AAIB Report into the accident:

"Whilst taxiing out at Lashendon (Headcorn) Airfield, Shenley Farm Cottages, Headcorn, Ashford, Kent, on 26.08.2007 collided with a parked Robin DR400, G-GGJK. The commander reported that the handling pilot was taxiing slowly towards the runway and commenced a turn. At about this time the commander’s attention was distracted by an intermittent headset microphone problem.

Both the handling pilot and the commander considered that there was sufficient clearance to avoid a parked Robin, however the Tiger Moth struck the Robin, damaging both aircraft. Nobody was injured.

Nature of Damage sustained to: Tiger Moth G-ANJA - damage to lower left mainplane and gear, and to Robin G-GGJK - damage to left mainplane and flap".

Presumably repaired very quickly, as badly damaged less than one year later, in a forced landing five miles West of Lashendon (Headcorn) Airfield, Shenley Farm Cottages, Headcorn, Kent 23.5.2008 following engine failure. According to the summary of the incident in the AAIB Report (see link #2 for the full report):

"During an aerobatic manoeuvre the engine stopped. While conducted a forced landing the pilot changed his selection of field twice and was subsequently unable to make his third choice of field. The pilot deliberately stalled the aircraft onto the ground in a field approximately 100 metres short of his selected field. The landing gear collapsed and the aircraft was substantially damaged"

Registration cancelled 22.12.2008 by CAA. Re-registered 27.2.2009 to Andrew David Hodgkinson, Luton; later March, near Peterborough, Cambridgeshire. On rebuild at Seething, Norfolk 9.2019. Currently registered.
