Probable cause: Inattention in the late application of avoiding measures.

CIRCUMSTANCES The pilot started at 8 am and landed 10:00 to reload pesticides, and eat. The aircraft took off again at 10:30 and continued until 12: 30 pm for the last treatment of vines of the morning. The pilot reported that when he made his first pass, at a height of about five meters and a speed of 40 km / h, as he prepared to make a U-turn, the helicopter struck a power line (medium voltage). Three hundred square feet of brush were destroyed by a fire caused by electrical cables. During the collsion with the powerline, the pilot had the sun behind him, and he wore sunglasses. The canopy was slightly dirty, covered with dust and product application. The area is hilly. The treatment areas were numerous and scattered. The pilot had never worked in the area. He said that he had landed the day before at 19:00 hours on a helipad located near the area of the accident.
