Narrative:Written off (destroyed) 24-05-1989 when crashed (spun into the ground) during glider towing at Portmoak Airfield, Scotlandwell, Kinross, Fife, Scotland. Both persons on board (pilot and one passenger) were killed.
Damage to airframe: Per the AAIB report "aircraft destroyed". As a result, the registration G-BBDI was cancelled by the CAA on 25-09-1989 (one month later) as "destroyed)
