The flight was level at 10,000 ft amsl in IMC conditions when the controller noticed the aircraft take a sharp right turn and descend rapidly. Attempts to contact the flight were unsuccessful. Examination of the wreckage showed that all the major components were present, however, impact damage precluded any flight control continuity check. The engines could not be recovered from the impact crater as the site was not accessible by specialised equipment. The NTSB was unable to determine the cause of the accident
