Takeoff at 08:08 hrs for operation Bodenplatte. Target: A.89 Le Culot, Belgium.

The aircraft was hit by Allied AA-fire and crashed.
The pilot, Uffz. E. Güldenpfennig, succumbed to his injuries on the third of January and was laid to rest at Margraten cemetery in the Netherlands, at the German plot. Later reburied at Ysselsteyn cemetery; grave I-2-45.
