Narrative:While engaged in a Heimatflug (non-operational sortie), the aircraft was ditched in the IJsselmeer lake following a starboard engine failure.
Feldwebel Theodor Kleinheinz and his Bordfunker (radio operator) Unteroffizier Hermann Gampe both suffered slight injuries.
