Narrative:
The aircraft took off at 23:43 hrs for an operation against the U-boat docks at Bremen-Vegesack in Germany.
It was shot down by night fighter pilot Major Alfred Helm of the Erprobungsstelle Werneuchen (flying with II./NJG 2), who had taken off from Leeuwarden airfield in Bf 110 R4+BA - (claim) Wadden Sea south of Terschelling.
The bomb aimer is missing in action:
