Narrative:Takeoff at 22:23 hrs for the third 1000 bomber raid, this time the target being Bremen in Germany.
Homeward-bound, the aircraft was shot down by night fighter pilot Oberleutnant Werner Rowlin of the 8./NJG 1, who was flying a Bf 110 from Twente airfield.
