Narrative:
Mission-Munster. Took off from RAF Marham at 2326 hrs. Shot down by a night-fighter (Oblt Helmut Woltersdorf, 4./NJG1) and crashed 0217 hrs into the North Sea off Schiermonnikoog in the Dutch Frisian Islands. It is believed the crew tried to make a controlled landing as a w/t message was received indicating this intention.
