Narrative:
Aircraft was from the Lockheed plant at Burbank Airport. Crashed during controlability tests while performing simulated in-flight emergency. Type: YS-3A Viking.

Aircraft stalled at low altitude and ejection was initiated. Both crew-members got full chutes. The pilot landed in a ditch and was assisted by a passer-by. The co-pilot passed through the fireball destroying his chute. He did not survive.
