Narrative:
The Boeing 777 (flight AC34) was forced to make an unscheduled two-hour stop in Honolulu to obtain medical treatment for 9 passengers and 2 cabin crew members after the jet encountered severe turbulence over the Pacific.
The injuries were described as " minor."
